Make your hashtags more inclusive

Here’s a super short, little mission that helps everyone.

Make your hashtags more inclusive – start today. So, instead of #inclusivehashtags try #InclusiveHashtags. Which is called Pascal case.

You might wonder why we should do this. Well, writing them out like this is better because it’s not only friendlier for screen readers (the synthesised speech that reads it aloud for the visually impaired) but also for those with dyslexia or other cognitive issues. Spacing or other obvious indicators really help us out with our reading, and without those cues, we may be making life hard for those who have difficulties.

So let’s include everyone in the conversation. Let’s get our Pascal case on!
