How secure is your personal data

How secure is your personal data?

The security of personal data is important to us here at Mission Drive.

Processing data is part of doing business for almost every company. Mission Drive is no different. We take calculated measures to keep user data safe and secure. HubSpot, a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system we use, has been particularly helpful for protecting customer data. Taking additional steps like setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) reduces the likelihood of our customer data leaks. Both tactics help us to build processes we can trust when setting up a client’s data infrastructure.

Data leaks still happen - for example, your email and passwords might have been hacked without you even realising. Scary, right? Sure, they’re not on the same scale as the high-profile leaks that you hear of in the news every so often. However, they are happening daily across the globe. Sites like haveibeenpwned.com are great to check whether you’ve had any data leaks associated with a particular email address. If you see any vulnerabilities, it is good practice to make sure you haven’t reused the same password and email combination somewhere else - as these details are no longer secure.
